Integrating Aquatic Plants into Water Features
COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – Helena Chemical Company introduces On Deck, a new herbicide designed to maintain turf grass appearance with broadleaf weed control. On Deck controls tough broadleaf weeds in a variety of environmental conditions with a concentrated formulation of dicamba and 2,4-D acids. This “dual-acid” product features lower volatility and produces far less odor than standard auxin-based products, allowing it to be used effectively in sensitive areas such as athletic fields, sod farms, roadways, industrial sites and residential areas.
On Deck minimizes spray application and mixing problems with a co-formulated adjuvant system that works as a nonionic surfactant and water conditioning agent. It improves deposition, spreading and plant absorption, while reducing spray droplet bounce, evaporation and wash-off potential. With minimal odor, the co-formulation system in On Deck also eliminates the need for additional odor masking agents.
On Deck enhances spray mix compatibility and features pH reduction and buffering agents to prevent hard water problems. It features a solventless, ester-free formulation, containing no fillers or diluents. On Deck is an EPA-registered herbicide for use on more than 50 annual, biennial and perennial broadleaf weeds in turf grasses.
